Lab Testing

At Pareja Medical Center, we like to consider ourselves a “one-stop shop” for most of your health concerns. That means, that we not only offer a diversity of treatments under one roof but it also means we keep a lot of testing in-house. That way, you don’t have to be running to many different places. We value simplicity and are ready to help you simplify your healthcare. Below you will find just a sampling of the different kinds of diagnostic work that we perform.

BIM

If you are serious about maintaining good health or getting your health back, you will take our bioelectrical impedance measurement. This quick, non-invasive diagnostic test is kind of like the 120-point inspection for your car—except for your body. All of us at Pareja Medical Center are so serious about our patients getting well and staying well that we make this a standard component of managing your health. Go to the Basic Test page for more info.

Routine Blood Work

It is wise to get your blood drawn periodically for the purpose of intervention. Our lifestyles and environmental factors will take a toll on our bodies. Therefore, it is necessary to have routine blood work so that we may know best how to intervene in case of disease or other impending failures in your body. Thankfully, you can get that done on site, and the results will be delivered to you as quickly as possible.

Genomic Testing

Genomic testing is one of our most exciting and powerful services at Pareja Medical. It comes as a result of the Human Genome Project and is sure to be beneficial for generations to come.
Experts believe that nearly all of the most pervasive, disabling and deadly degenerative diseases, including heart disease, adult-onset diabetes, cancer and senile dementia, develop from an ongoing interaction between genetic and environmental factors. Poor diet, chronic nutritional deficiencies, hormone imbalances, unhealthy lifestyle habits, bacterial infection, toxic exposure to cigarette smoke, air pollution or other substances, excessive alcohol consumption, sun exposure or bacterial infection can play a role in whether or not disease develops. Over time, these harmful agents and conditions can switch on a gene’s ability to promote disease.
Basically, the Genomic test will accurately indicate any genetic predispositions that you and your loved ones may have. This, then, will help us target a plan for intervention. Call us today to set up a time to talk about the vital benefits of this test.
